Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on NAP may be affiliate links, which means NAP may earn a commission if you purchase through them, at no additional cost to you.

Published for the NAP limited beta. Last updated 21 August 2026.

This document describes how NAP currently works, written in plain language by the founder. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace advice from a lawyer or a clinician about your own situation.

What a commission does not buy

  • A positive review or rating.
  • A place in a recommendation list without genuine merit.
  • Influence over lived-experience or educational writing.
  • Silence about a product's limitations.

Labeling

Affiliate relationships are labeled on the listing itself, not buried in a footer. Every recommendation also carries a basis label — Personally Used, Carefully Researched, Community Favorite, or Sponsored — so you know where it comes from.

Current status

No affiliate links are live yet. This policy exists so the standard is set before the first one appears.
